CASTING
The Hypocrites hold yearly Equity auditions, and also hold invited auditions on an as-needed basis. Headshots and résumés are accepted year-round, and may be submitted to Hypocrites.Casting@gmail.com. When submitting, please ensure that your headshot and résumé are in PDF format. If we are interested in seeing you for a particular show, you will be contacted directly. No phone calls, please. All casting is done by The Chicago Inclusion Project.

Logan Fellowship – Call for Applicants 2016 [CLOSED]
Chicago, IL

The Hypocrites is seeking applicants for the newly created Logan Fellowship. This is open to any qualified woman of color who is interested in artistic leadership while maintaining an individual career as a writer or director.

The Logan Fellow will act as the Hypocrites’ Associate Artistic Director from August 1st, 2016 – July 31st, 2017

This is a salaried full time commitment with the following responsibilities: Participate in the daily activities of an Artistic Director including: season planning, interviewing and hiring artistic personnel, new work cultivation, functioning as a resource to the season’s directors, fundraising activities and collaborating with the Executive Director, Production Manager and Marketing Manager on administrative tasks requiring artistic input; Serve as Assistant Director to Artistic Director, Sean Graney, on a production in the 16/17 season; Sit on the eight-person advisory Artistic Council of The Hypocrites; Attend rehearsals throughout the season; Finally, the fellow will develop an original adaptation of a classic text with support from The Hypocrites in the form of workshops and artistic mentorship from the Artistic Director.
