MISS JULIE
by AUGUST STRINDBURG
adapted and directed by SEAN GRANEY
Artistic Director
Sean Graney returns to promenade performances with August Strindberg’s
classic tale of struggle between the sexes. As the spring turns to
summer, a young woman is stripped of her facade to reveal a brutal
portrayal of class society. Strindberg wrote this clash of the sexes and
classes as a revolutionary call to reexamine theater. A call all too
urgent today.
